The SFB 1112 doctoral students Stephanie Albrecht and Anja Elpelt were awarded the first Student Project Support Grant of IRTG "Nanocarriers" for their joint project: "Investigation of oxidative stress response in 3D reconstructed human skin during solar irradiation".

The young scientists belong to the groups of SFB 1112-project B01 (group Prof. Dr. M. Meinke, Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin) and project C02 (AG Prof. Dr. S. Hedtrich, FU Berlin). The joint student project will be funded with 1.000 EUR for consumables.

SFB 1112 congratulates both winners and is looking forward to first results of the project!
