SFB 1112 welcomes Dr. Lingyan Gao from the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China.

The chemist works on the project "Stimuli-Responsive Supramolecular Nanogels for Transdermal drug delivery of Dexamethasone" with the group of Prof. Dr. Rainer Haag in the frame of SFB 1112 project A04 ("Development of pH-cleavable and thermoresponsive nanogels as nanocarriers for the transdermal triggered release of drugs").

Dr. Gao will present her SFB-project at the SFB Colloquium later on this Winter Term, details to be announced soon.

Biosketch Dr. Gao:

• PhD in Chemistry from Department of Chemistry, College of Science, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. Advisor: Prof. Feihe Huang

• Exchange PhD Student in Prof. Dr. Christoph A. Schalley’s group, Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Freie Universität Berlin, Germany

• Bachelor Degree in Science, College of Pharmaceutical Science, Zhejiang University,Hangzhou, China.

• Current Research Interests:
  Fabrication of [2]pseudorotaxanes and [3]pseudorotaxane based onpillar[5]arene/alkyl chain derivatives
