SFB 1112 welcomes Dr. Viktor Korzhikov, Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Biomedical Chemistry, Institute of Chemistry, St. Petersburg State University, Russia.
During his research visit with the group of Prof. Dr. Eckart Rühl (Speaker, Project B02 of SFB 1112), Dr. Korzhikov works on his project "Modeling of transdermal delivery of drugs with application of poly(lactic acid) and poly(caprolactone) based nanoparticles".
Dr. Korzhikov will present his work with a talk in the frame of the group seminar on December 1, 2015 (4:00 pm): "Biofunctional and biodegradable materials for tissue engineering and drug delivery". Guests are cordially invited to join.

- Diploma in Chemistry, Saint Petersburg State University, Department of Chemistry, Specialization in Macromolecular Chemistry
- DAAD-student at the Institute of Technical Chemistry, University of Hanover, Hanover, Germany (mineral-organic composite materials for bone tissue engineering, specially designed scaffolds based on a principle of biorecognition)
- PhD in Macromolecular Chemistry, Institute of Macromolecular Compounds, Russian Academy of Science, PhD; Thesis: “Multibiofunctional polymer-inorganic hybrid carriers for bone tissue engineering”
